International photographic organization, Society of twenty-five, will open a photographic exhibition of iconic figures of Bali. The opening will be March 2nd at 6:30 PM at the Komaneka Fine Art Gallery in Ubud, Bali. The images will be on exhibit through March 12th and will travel to other locations around the world.
Indra Leonardi – a member of the XXV group – and Koman Wahyu Suteja curated and coordinated the prominent members of the community who have helped bring Bali to the front of the global community. These figures come from various background, including museum founders, visual artists, photographers, fashion and jewelry designers, architects and interior designers, musicians and music producers, gallery owners, culinary figures as well as literature and cultural icons.
Some of the photographs were created at the first museum for culture and art of Bali, Puri Lukisan in Ubud. Others were created in the first boutique hotel in Bali, Tandjung Sari in Sanur and Kendra Gallery in Seminyak. For artistic reason and more authentic ambiance, other photographs are created at the house of those prominent figures.
